Military/Veteran Resource Seminar
NOLA Patriots, in affiliation with the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) will be hosting a "Military/Veteran Resource Seminar" and family fun day on Saturday June 15, 2013 at Pavilion Island, Lafreniere Park, Metairie, LA. The event is from 10 am - 6 pm.
We are looking for ANY person, group, business, government agency etc. that offers support or assistance to our military and veterans. The goal of this seminar is to create a printed/published statewide directory of ANY/ALL resources available in Louisiana.
In conjunction with the seminar we would like to have a family fun day with vendors (craft, food etc), music, fun for the kids, static displays and demonstrations for all. Gulf Coast Bank/NOLA Patriots
We are very pleased to announce that our newest supporter, Gulf Coast Bank is offering our organization 500 tickets to the "Celebrate Independence Day" at Zephyr filed on Thursday July 4th. All attendees will be seated along the 1st base line and enjoy unlimited food from the "Party Shack". This IS a family event as children are most welcomed and can even play in a secure play area.
Also, we have the honor of picking some warriors to sing OUR National Anthem, throw out the first pitch and sing God Bless America. Anyone interested in attending please RSVP to peersupport@nolapatriots.org as soon as possible. We need to provide a list of attendees to Gulf Coast Bank.

NOLA Patriots/BIG AL'S
All we can say is WOW !! Our first annual Military Appreciation Crawfish Boil was nothing short of SPECTACULAR!! This event surpassed all expectations. The event was attended by almost 1,600 supporters and we went through close to 3,800 lbs of "mud bugs". ALL four bands were incredible, the vendors were great and the food was excellent. Everyone had a great time.
THANK YOU to everyone who helped including the ALGIERS REPUBLICAN WOMEN, BOY SCOUTS of AMERICA and our ladies who tirelessly worked the front entrance gate. A BIG shout out and THANK YOU to "Gumbo" and the Vietnam Veterans/Legacy Vets for your incredible donation and most of all, for your friendship and support.
Yes my friends, their WILL BE a "2nd Annual" !!

NOLA Patriots / Wounded Warrior Project
NOLA Patriots is extremely honored to announce our affiliation with the WOUNDED WARRIOR PROJECT. We will be working together on collaborative efforts to reach Louisiana veterans, active-duty service members and their families and address the challenges that they face.
Please keep watching for some greater peer mentoring outreach programs and events to help boost moral as well as numerous new resources to aid our veterans.

"HELP WANTED"
NOLA Patriots is looking for any General Contractors, groups or organizations that would like to join OUR team in assisting veterans. We have recently received request from family members of mobility impaired veterans who are in need of "wheel chair ramps".

It is the goal of NOLA Patriots Inc., and this program to ensure that OUR military members AND their families have access to ALL available resources, receive any/all benefits entitled to, have a "support network" in place and most importantly, to bring awareness to OUR military families that you ARE NOT ALONE.
This type of program is currently being used across the nation by many non-profit organizations and has been proven to be incredibly successful. WE WILL DUPLICATE IT'S SUCCESS throughout Louisiana !

WARRIOR FAMILY UNITY PROJECT
NOLA Patriots Inc. is very proud to announce OUR mission, the WARRIOR FAMILY UNITY PROJECT ! Our mission is to provide services and/or assistance to the spouse and dependents of our warriors during the pre and post service transition. Many services become unavailable to the families post service, however it is vitally important to maintain family unit during the transition. When miltary service ends the "care" for our warriors shouldn't !! It is the goal of NOLA Patriots Inc. to become a statewide "link" that can and will provide continued assistance to OUR warrior families.
